Introduction:
Our client operates a full-spectrum engineering business, covering design, plant modelling, procurement, turn-key project management, construction, installation, commissioning, boiler service and maintenance, boiler call-outs, pressure vessel & boiler statutory inspections, supply of burner management systems, steam trap audits, valve repair & testing, rigging and they are in urgent need of an Engineering Manager

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
B Eng / BSc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
Min 5 years’ post-graduation working experience within a factory environment
Must have experience with boilers, steam, compressed air, standby generators, chiller plant (advantage)
Must have valid Driver’s License and own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Setting up and managing engineering standards
Strategic planning, coordination and execution of engineering and maintenance activities
Manage operational activities of the business (operation of utility plant)
Ensure legal compliance across engineering disciplines and equipment
Liaise with client face to face
Submit engineering and operational reports to Directors
Responsible for safety compliance
