SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Engineering Manager who is responsible for the overall development, supply and installation of all equipment focusing on strengthening the clients market share and position within its customerÃ¢Â€Â™s base. The role calls for a specialist with a proven track record in the mining industry.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification:

Relevant engineering studies in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
(Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech/M.Eng) Advantageous

Skills:

10 - 15 years’ experience
5 – 8 years’ management experience.
International project experience advantageous
Contract management, engineering, costing/cost control, HAZOP and SHERQC
Interaction and management of clients both formally and informal onsite and office settings

Job description:

Ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
Management of project development and implementation plans and execution thereof.
Budgeting principals and controls
Construction management, safety, quality, and programming
Local and international suppliers/competitors’ competencies and capabilities
Cost management and efficiency
Assisting clients with asset management strategies
