SUMMARY:
Engineering Manager In JHB east Needed.5 -10 yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience in a chemical plant environment . Manufacturing, maintenance planning and execution skills needed. Oversee strategic engineering projects and change management Will be responsible for maintenance budget, external contractors and professional services. Management of continuous business improvement and technical support.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Engineering Manager

Location: Johannesburg East

Managing all engineers in the Manufacturing side. Will provide specialist engineering advice to production, safety and technical aspects.

Qualifications and skills required:

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
GCC (Factories)
Minimum 5 -10 years’ experience in a chemical plant environment and track record of engineering leadership experience in the maintenance and project management of large utilities and manufacturing plant.
Extensive knowledge of project management in a multi-disciplinary environment
Knowledge and experience in hazard control and risk assessments.
In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, standards and maintenance management systems (CMMS, SAP PM) in a manufacturing environment
Experience in performance management and people development.
