Engineering Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing industry has an opportunity available for an Engineering Manager in the Richards Bay area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• Matric
• Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree - non-negiotable
• PR Eng
• ECSA registration
• Welding Inspector qualification
• Leadership / Management Diploma
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering position
• 2+ years experience in a senior position
• Experience working with CAD software/Autodesk Inventor
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and SAP
• Aluminium smelter equipment experience  

KPAs:

• Managing the Engineering Department
• Design in 2D and modelling in 3D
• Site visits and equipment inspections
• Review and approval of drawings
• Maintain engineering procedures and processes
• Provide technical assistance and/or audits on the client site
• Access/download drawings from SAP R3/B1
