Job & Company Description:

A progressive company that is a market leader in the metal manufacturing industry is in need of a well-rounded Engineering Manager to join the company and lead organisational projects. This company designs and manufactures metal materials for their clients in various countries. The desired candidate must be ambitious, experienced, preferably have technical maintenance experience, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering (non neg.)
• Government Certificate of Competence – Factories (non neg.)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Maintenance Manager (preferably metal, FMCG or petroleum).
• Must have knowledge of formal standards (OHSAS18001, ISO14001, ISO9000, etc.).
• Must understand PLC’s (Siemens/ABB/ Schneider - advantageous)
• Experience working with automated equipment (advantageous)
