This renowned company with an international presence is looking for a dynamic Engineering Manager that is extensively experienced to join their team in Johannesburg. This company designs and manufactures construction materials for their clients and these clients are in over 50 countries. This company is searching for an Engineering Manager to be involved in organisational projects and lead their team to reach greater heights. The desired candidate must have technical maintenance experience and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, they will be responsible for improving the performance of the plant.

Education:

BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering (non-negotiable)
Government Certificate of Competence – Factories (non-negotiable)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

At least 10 years of overall working experience.
4 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager in a manufacturing environment (preferably metal, FMCG or petroleum)
Knowledge of formal standards (OHSAS18001, ISO14001, ISO9000, etc.).
Must be able to formulate organisational strategic plans with management.
Must be able to set maintenance engineering process targets that are in line with operations, operational processes will be implemented and managed to achieve set targets.
