JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry requires an Engineering Manager with a minimum of 5 years OEM Process engineering management and sound / solid technical experience, combined with an Engineering and Business Administration qualification.
An entrepreneurial spirit, managerial expertise and high analytical strategic skills are prerequisites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum qualification requirements:

Matric.
Robotic welding & 6 Sigma Black Belt.
Millwright Red Seal Qualification is an advantage.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a leading function.
Best expertise in Automotive Systems.
Professional experience in OEM Processing engineering management with solid technical expereince.
Entrepreneurial spirit and behavior/ managerial knowledge
Organizational skills
Analytical skills including Statistical Process Control.
Cooperative management behavior and team spirit
Awareness of quality and costs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operation & technical planning of manufacturing processes.
Process management.
Product audits & Systems audits (VDA, AITF, AIAG).
Compiling and reviewing process documentation in line with AITF & ISO requirements.
Part Approval/ Process Capability.
Continual Improvement.
Familiarise to the HGSA Health, Safety & Quality Policy statement.
General Housekeeping
Resource Management.
Assisting in the provision of a safe working environment for all employees in accordance with the regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
