What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Furnace Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

*  Manage Technical Design on AutoDesk Inventor & ANSYS & FLUENT

*  Manage Execution of Furnace Implementation Project

*  Verify Design and Calculations and Sign-Off

*  Manage Project Costs

*  Manage Project Safety - Carry Section 10

Key Job Deliverables:

*  Ensure Design & Engineering Team is Well Run

*  Ensure Design Complies to Safety Standards

*  Ensure Start-to-Finish Furnace Project Success

Background work experience:

*  10 years Furnace Design & Construction

*  5 years Engineering Management

*  5 years Project Management

*  5 years OSH Act Safety

*  Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Metallurgical Engineering

*  Furnace Design & Construction

*  Start to finish management of Furnace projects from Concept to Hand-Over

*  Managing a Team of Furnace Design and Construction Engineers

*  Managing Large Scale Furnace Construction Projects (R100Mil to R1Bil)

*  Carrying Section 10 Safety and ensuring OSH Act compliance during construction phase

*  Advantageous: Furnace R&D Exposure

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R1Mil to R2Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
