Engineering Manager - Technical

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for an Engineering Manager - Technical in the Mpumalanga area. This will be a temporary position.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma
• Must have a GCC Mines (Electrical)
• GCC Electrical and Mechanical will be advantageous
• Must have experience in the mining industry
• Knowledge of Civil ITO Building, Infrastructure shaft services, utilities, electrical, C&I, Coal handling and underground development, conveyor methods
• Understanding of Phase engineering package
• Understanding of drilling and coal supply
• Understanding of site and plot plan

KPAs:

• Oversee the infrastructure study
• Cost estimation review
• Identify environmental issues
• Engage with the mine planning manager regarding the mine schedule and production
• Engage with the Geohydrologist
