Engineering Planner - Industrial Manufacturing - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a suitably qualified Maintenance Engineering Administrator, responsible for the planning/resource and spares co-ordination of all the MAINTENANCE related activities.

POSITION INFO:
Support the maintenance team and Maintenance manager with routine maintenance and breakdown maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 Certificate
2. English as first language 
3. Live in Cape Town
4. Valid SA ID Book
5. Stable track record with contactable references
6. 5 years Min experience gained within an MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING environment
7. Engineering qualification will be a definite advantage for this position (Mechanical Engineering)
8. Computer literate - NON-NEGOTIABLE (SAP or CWorks)

• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal and meticulous grammar and comprehension)

• Draw up job cards for planned and unplanned maintenance
• Planning of preventative maintenance
• Control the paper and administrative process flow of the Engineering department
• Responsible for timekeeping
• Maintain the ERP system
• Generate and maintain reports
• General department administration
• Adhoc duties - filing, drawing up of documents, editing documents
• Draft Engineering Scope of Works
• Assist with Engineering Safety processes
• Coordinating and planning maintenance activities
• Minute taking
