Introduction:
Our client operates a full-spectrum engineering business, covering design, plant modelling, procurement, turn-key project management, construction, installation, commissioning, boiler service and maintenance, boiler call-outs, pressure vessel & boiler statutory inspections, supply of burner management systems, steam trap audits, valve repair & testing, rigging and they are in urgent need of an Engineering Technician

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• ND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
• Min 2 years’ post-graduation working experience
• Must have valid Driver’s License and own vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Administer the CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
• Create and Issue job cards from the CMMS to maintenance teams
• Feedback job information into the CMMS
• Procurement of spares and services in support of engineering activities
• Maintain asset register on CMMS and supporting engineering info on assets
• Planning and coordination of maintenance activities
• Attend site-client feedback meetings
• Conduct engineering audits on site
