Introduction:
Our client operates a full-spectrum engineering business, covering design, plant modelling, procurement, turn-key project management, construction, installation, commissioning, boiler service and maintenance, boiler call-outs, pressure vessel & boiler statutory inspections, supply of burner management systems, steam trap audits, valve repair & testing, rigging and they are in urgent need of an Engineering Technician

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
ND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
Min 2 years’ post-graduation working experience
Must have valid Driver’s License and own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Administer the CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
Create and Issue job cards from the CMMS to maintenance teams
Feedback job information into the CMMS
Procurement of spares and services in support of engineering activities
Maintain asset register on CMMS and supporting engineering info on assets
Planning and coordination of maintenance activities
Attend site-client feedback meetings
Conduct engineering audits on site
