Enterprise & Supplier Development Specialist

SUMMARY:
To provide a full Enterprise and Supplier Development function in accordance with Enterprise and Supplier Development policies and procedures.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• Degree or National Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management
• 4 years’ relevant experience
Additional qualifications:
• Business Administration, Political Sciences or Social Development Studies

Manage the Section:

• Ensure an enabling climate/culture
• Manage labour stability by minimising labour turnover
• Labour complement in line with budget
• Achieve HDSA/Female targets for the Section
• Manage performance against set targets and competencies
• Ensure IDP’s are linked to performance results and implemented as per plan
• Conduct career discussions and implement actions with all identified talent (quarterly)
•  Ensure discipline is maintained (absenteeism, lateness, overtime, misconduct, etc.)
• Coach and counsel people to ensure improved performance levels
• Conduct recruitment interviews

CUSTOMERS

Customer Satisfaction:

• Conduct Customer Satisfaction Surveys
• Liaise with business unit and Legal Department
• Liaise  stakeholders
• Assist with vendor assessments and evaluations
• Implement and drive Enterprise and Supplier development strategies
• Implement and drive BBBEE and procurement key performance indicators
• Liaise with Enterprise and Supplier Development Entrepreneurs and Communities

BUSINESS PROCESSES

Lead procurement team:

• In efficient and cost effective buying /tendering
• Apply the principle of TCO

Service Level Agreements:

• Develop and implement SLA’s with service providers

Vendor Administration:

• Conduct vendor administration
• Facilitate and Monitor Vendor non-conformances and complaints

Contract Administration:

• Conduct ESD Contract management and administration
• Change Contracts in line with Price Agreements
• Resolve Contract queries
• Contract and annual increase negotiations
• Prepare and analyse the adjudication of tenders

Spend Analysis:

• Analyse spend on Vendors, Commodities or Users and make recommendations to improve performance against targets

Material and Service Masters:

• Increase spend against Material and Service Masters
• Catalogue Material and Service Masters

Reports:

• Compile Local spend  procurement Reports
• Compile Enterprise and Supplier Development Reports

Policies and Procedures:

• Maintain Contract and Procurement Policies and Procedures
• Continuous improvement

Enterprise Development:

• Identify new Enterprise Development projects
• Identify new Supplier Development projects
• Implement and manage Enterprise and Supplier Development projects
• Identify and manage Supplier development
• Ensure compliance to applicable Enterprise and Supplier Development legislations

GROWTH

BBBEE Initiatives:

• Increase BBBEE spend
• Benchmark industry leaders on BBBEE affairs and initiatives
• Ensure integration with local business development initiatives
• Network formally and informally with industry and relevant peer groups
• Verify vendor BBBEE status
• Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
