JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Legal Sector is looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to establish an appropriate enterprise risk service through consulting with risk owners and utilisation of selected tools to report, maintain risk appetite and create conducive risk culture and best practice.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:-

Policy and Governance

Contributes to governance on documented policy and procedures.
Develops and establishes enterprise and practitioner risk management frameworks, strategies and policies.
Maintains a risk universe for the organization.
Participates in annual reviews of Risk Management Policy, Framework and Strategy.

Risk, Policies and Standards

Manages an inventory of the processes within the organization's activities for strategic watch, business and regulatory intelligence.
Develops risk tolerance levels to serve as alerts to the Group
- Supports and contributes towards the formulation of risk strategy.
- Assists in the development of treatment plans in the light of the criticality of the risk areas and the organization's risk appetite. Manages the enterprise risk and practitioner risk.
- - Oversees the development and management of staff within the department.
  - 1. Strategic Planning and Risk Appetite
    - Supports and contributes towards the formulation of risk strategy.
    - Assists in the development of treatment plans in the light of the criticality of the risk areas and the organization's risk appetite.
    1. Risk identification and Preparation
    - Consults risk owners on the methodological support in the identification and evaluation of risks linked to organizational strategic orientations.
    - Embeds risk culture in the Fund.
    1. Risk Measurement and Reporting
    - Provides feedback to relevant stakeholders on monthly, quarterly and annual reports
    - Conduct sessions to maintain records of risk cartographies and registers.
    - Assists in the dissemination of risk-monitoring dashboards, together with an assessment of the risk management activities and their efficacy.
    1. Risk escalation and Communication
    - Implements an interview guide and communicates it to those concerned.
    - Compiles reports in formats and according to frequencies for the risk management arrangements.
    - Advises and consults risk owners on the implementation of risk treatment measures.
    1. Infrastructure
    - Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the disaster recovery plan/ requirements
    - Utilizes a selected reference tool and follows a implementation method.

  1. Educational qualifications/ work experience
  - Compt/ B Com or similar, including Articles in an Audit firm.
