Equity Investment Analyst | Hillcrest
POSITION INFO:
Looking for an experienced Equity Investment Analyst to join a dynamic investment team in Hillcrest, Durban.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as an equity analyst. Experience analyzing financial or industrial companies is preferable. You will report to the Chief Investment Officer and be responsible for performing economic, company, and security analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing research and analysis of the investable universe.
Reporting and analyzing company results and economic data.
Filtering and monitoring the investable universe.
Executing trades and managing portfolio liquidity.
We require a degree with a quantitative focus, such as finance, accounting, or investments, with an honors degree being preferable. A CFA qualification is also an advantage. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and have financial modeling skills.
