Key Activities: - Work under the Companies Senior Estimator receiving guidance on the Companies Tender/estimating process.
- Engage with Senior Managers to develop and define enquiry scope and requirements.
- Prepare a technical/Customer specification.
- Prepare a costing estimate and interrogate costing inputs to create a price quotation.
- Prepare tender documents.
- Finalise and process internal order documents.
- Hand over order to Contracts Manager and assist with internal launch of new orders.
- Receive and process enquiries for spare parts.
- Process any orders for spare parts, including internal order paperwork, expediting supply of parts, freight, delivery and payment.
- Any other reasonable activity requested by the Senior Estimator or your manager.
Requirements: - A National Diploma or Degree in the field of
Engineering,
Finance or Marketing (or appropriate field).
- Practical experience (4-years or more) in an Engineering Design/Drawing Office, Finance Office or Marketing Office.
- Tertiary qualification and experience in Cost and Management Accounting advantageous
- Have excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Intermediate level computer literacy.
- Must be prepared to undergo written and verbal assessments.
