JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading corporate signage manufacturer, and they are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled Estimator. The company is based in the Northern Suburbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing blueprints, spec sheets and estimating all the signage for each project.
Estimate cost, material, and labour for projects, after meticulous analysis of project specifications and documentation.
Computes costs by analyzing labour, material, and time requirements.
Ensure all Master’s are developed and up to date.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
Maintains technical knowledge by continuously developing and researching.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Initiate and build trust with clients.
Partner with Project Managers and Owners to evaluate bids and set pricing.
Calculating risks.

Requirements:

Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and/or accounting as subjects.
Minimum 2 - 5 years related experience.
Relevant Degree or Diploma preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to understand technical drawing and requirements.
An orderly and logical approach to work.
Thoroughness and reliability.
Good problem-solving skills.
