SUMMARY:
The Role:

We are looking for an Event Management DevOps Specialist for a long term project.

• Continuous enhancement of IT Event Management (ITIL) solution, based on TrueSight
• 2nd and 3rd Level Support for IT Event Management solution
• Collecting of requirements related to new monitoring functions of IT departments
  

  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We are looking for an Event Management DevOps Specialist for a long term project.

  • Continuous enhancement of IT Event Management (ITIL) solution, based on TrueSight
  • 2nd and 3rd Level Support for IT Event Management solution
  • Collecting of requirements related to new monitoring functions of IT departments
  • Creating and refinement of user stories about IT Event Management solution, like rule changes, monitoring sources and so on.
  • Developing of enhancements, defined in user stories, together with our providers
  • Supporting of IT Event Management customers regarding the required usage in monitoring environment
  • Responsible for all required documentation including Operations manual, security, test concept etc.
  • Testing
  Skills and Experience:
  • Min 5years experience.
  • Coordination between development and support environments
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Experience with the Agile Methodology
  • Ability to conceptualise complex information, but also delve into the details when required
  • Experience in IT Event Management solutions like BMC TrueSight, ServiceNow ITOM and so on.
  • Experience in IT Monitoring solutions
  • Deep knowledge about IT Event Management rules and behavior
  • In-depth working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Platforms - Operating systems like Linux and Windows, Networks, Platforms like Databases, Web technologies, and Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience in Shell, Perl, Python and higher programming language e.g. Java
