A premium hospitality and events venue in the Chintsa East area is looking for a friendly, energetic and organised Events Assistant \/ Front of House team member to support the smooth running of weddings, functions, conferences and other events. This is a junior, hands-on opportunity suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in hospitality and events, and is looking to gain experience in a professional events environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with venue set-up and event preparation. Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with food and beverage service when required. Ensure tables, seating and event spaces are presented to a high standard. Support the Events and Front of House teams during weddings, functions and conferences. Assist guests with basic queries and requests. Assist with event pack-down and ensure the venue is left clean and organised. Assist with suppliers and service providers on event days. Support the wider hospitality team during busy periods. Maintain professional standards of presentation and guest service. Carry out other reasonable duties required to support the Events and Hospitality operation. Requirements Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with people. Well-presented and professional. Reliable, punctual and organised. Energetic and comfortable working on your feet. Good communication skills with good spoken and written English. Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Genuine interest in developing a career in events, hospitality or Front of House. Previous hospitality, restaurant, events or customer-service experience is advantageous but not essential. A hospitality or events-related qualification would be beneficial. Junior candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. A valid driver's licence and reliable transport would be advantageous due to the location. Working Hours This role requires flexibility, as events may take place during evenings, weekends and public holidays. Occasional late finishes may be required.
