The University of Fort Hare seeks to appoint suitable and experienced candidates for the above mentioned permanent post in Examinations and Graduation Department.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• 3-year relevant qualification (NQF Level 6) from a recognized tertiary institution.
• 3 years’ experience working in academic administration.
• 2 years’ experience in Exams and graduation office will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS) (Student)

• People management skills.
• Good ethical behaviour
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Appropriate levels of initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setup.
• Commitment to customer services.

• Provide support to Senior Examination and Graduation Officers with smooth running of examination and graduation activities;
• Facilitate requisitions.
• Provide support Senior Examinations Officer with duplication of examination question papers.
• Monitors submission and processing of examination marks.
• Ensure capturing of all graduation lists and other updates from Senate.
• Liaise with academic and faculty representatives on matters pertaining to examination and graduation administration.
• Ensure accuracy of examination marks and results data on ITS database.
• Ensure accurate capturing of graduation statuses.
• Responsible for compilation of invigilation timetable
• Ensure that quality measures are implemented and maintained at all times; and
• Performs other duties as assigned from time to time
