Executive Assistant (Modderfontein)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking the skills of an Executive Assistant. The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines is an essential part of this position. Candidate must be able to work independently. Honesty, Integrity and discretion are critical factors in this position.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities and Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative, organisation and problem-solving skills are required
• Above average computer skills are required particularly regarding Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power point
• Have a valid driver’s license

• At least 5 years executive administration experience
• Marketing experience would be advantageous
• Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous

• Provide administrative assistance to the Divisional Managing Director and the Executive team
• Co-ordinate and arrange meetings and events for the Executive team
• Actively assist the Commercial department in formulating and executing a winning marketing strategy to grow the division
• Expand the company’s client database by contacting and arranging introductory meetings for the commercial department with prospective clients
• Actively track the company’s B-BBEE status and assist in the co-ordination of the annual audit
• Identify and manage the company’s SED projects
• Be responsible for the company’s Supplier Development program
• Always ensure that the divisions industry memberships and registrations are valid
