  • Implement regional business plan to meet and exceed target for the region
  • Provide leadership, coaching and capability development programs
  • Implement reward, recognition and retention plans
  • Formulate and execute operating expenses and capital investments budgets
  • Implement route to market strategy
  • Execute channel and promotional execution strategies
  • Build superior knowledge and understanding of the SA market including shoppers, consumers, customers and competitors
  • Build strong relationships with local communities and implement community upliftment programmes

Competencies Required

  • Management and development of a functionally competent team
  • Develop and maintain budgets for the optimal management of functions
  • Develop strategic business plans for both the sales and operations functions
  • Ensure optimal depot resourcing
  • Manage sales & operations key performance areas
  • Develop Quarterly Sales plans
  • Provide customer service excellence

  • Manage a safe, healthy and risk free environment 

Qualifications and Experience 

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor''s Degree in commerce, sales or marketing. 

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years Sales or operational experience in an FMCG environment
  • Minimum of 5 years Managerial experience
  • High computer literacy
