POSITION INFO:
This organisation is a fast-growing player in the platinum group metals sector, operating a major underground mining project backed by strong international investment. With a focus on long-term sustainability, operational excellence, and global partnerships, the business is in an exciting phase of development that requires strong financial leadership to support its strategic and expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial strategy and planning.
- Manage international reporting lines and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive performance, cost optimisation, and business insights.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Implement and optimise SAP processes to enhance financial controls and efficiencies.
- Navigate and lead within a multicultural environment, ensuring collaboration across diverse teams.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- CA(SA) – non-negotiable.
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years post-articles experience within mining or heavy industry.
- Proven experience working with international reporting structures.
- Strong strategic finance and business partnering exposure.
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Skills:
- Advanced SAP experience – essential.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and operational finance capability.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
Other Requirements:
- Immediately available or available at short notice.
- Hands-on leader who is not afraid to be operational when required.
