POSITION INFO:
Executive Housekeeper This role forms part of the housekeeping team at The Bay Hotel, within the Village n Life hospitality group. The Role As Executive Housekeeper, you’ll support the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations. This includes supervising staff, maintaining supplies, overseeing aesthetics across the hotel and ensuring health and safety measures are in place. Key Responsibilities – Oversee servicing and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas – Conduct daily checks to maintain Village n Life standards – Supervise and train staff ensuring correct procedures are followed – Manage housekeeping stock, equipment and uniforms – Monitor aesthetics ensuring décor and furniture are maintained – Investigate and resolve guest complaints promptly – Ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures What We’re Looking For – Matric plus relevant certificate or diploma – 2–5 years housekeeping management experience in hospitality – Strong communication, decision-making and organizational skills – High attention to detail and ability to manage under pressure – A collaborative leader who motivates and supports their team What We Offer – A professional environment in one of Cape Town’s most iconic locations – Growth and training opportunities within Village n Life – Staff housing options and access to staff facilities – Competitive package aligned with experience Kindly note that if you have not heard from us within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
