JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available! Our well known client in Business Development sector is looking to employ an Executive Legal Manager to join their dynamic team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Drive implementation of the Legal and Compliance Services strategy
Overseeing of operations of the business unit
Manage the provision of sound legal advice and litigation support to the Department
Manage the provision legislative services and contracts management to the Department
Performance Management and Compliance
Resource optimisation
Advocacy- professional team building

Job Requirements:

LLB and Admitted Attorney
10 years’ experience in commercial contract, company law, property law and commercial litigation.
Preferable an admitted notary and conveyancer.
5 years in the Senior Management role.

Must possess the following competencies:

Advanced understanding of corporate governance principles
Understanding of inter-governmental relations
Understanding of inter-governmental relations
Labour legislation (incl. LRA, EE, BCEA etc.)
Collective Bargaining Process knowledge
Knowledge of commercial contract, company law, property law and commercial litigation
