Executive/Project Management Assistant - Durbanville

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Project Management Assistant for an Interior Design company based in Durbanville. This role involves working closely with the senior designer, handling various tasks to streamline their design projects from client consultations and generating quotations to coordinate projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive quotes and proposals for design projects on Xero|Excel
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Oversee the selection, procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures and finishes.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and source high-quality design materials.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as an executive administrative assistant or senior executive assistant in an interior design or related field.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Must be in excellent health
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Extensive knowledge in Xero Accounting
• Proficiency in design software programs (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp) will be to your advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional and approachable demeanor
