POSITION INFO:
Project Manager – Bridge Projects
Job Summary - Responsible for the overall planning, execution, control, and completion of bridge projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all phases of bridge construction projects.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead site teams including engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and HSE standards.
• Monitor progress, productivity, costs, and cash flow; implement corrective actions where required.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including performance and payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal management.
• Approve method statements, work programs, and material submissions.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and project documentation.
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8+ years’ experience in bridge or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, temporary works, and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and planning skills.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling tools.
Salary: 6000 - 7000USD pm plus 500USD pm for daily expenses, accomodation, car and driver, life insurance and medical aid. 2 flights per annum home for 2 weeks break at a time.
