Export Sales Administrator Agriculture

SUMMARY:
An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking the above to ensure efficiency in their Export Logistics System, administering all export sales activities and procedures, including the planning and coordinating of international shipment of goods.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have Grade 12
• A qualification in Exports Administration will be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar position is required
• Must have excellent SAP knowledge especially MRP, order processing, forecasts, pricing maintenance and pricing conditions
• Knowledge on export controls related SARB, SARS & customs and Excise is essential
• Advanced ability in MS Excel is an advantage

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Attending to export enquiries and quotations as requested by customers.
• Obtaining Freight Forwarding quotations in accordance with relevant Work Instructions.
• Receiving and processing orders from export customers.
• Expediting export orders and integrating all internal and external logistics functions.
• Preparing export documentation, i.e. commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin etc.
• Preparing pre-shipment inspections where necessary.
• Creating and controlling all export documentation in accordance with relevant Work Instructions.
• Preparing and following up with tenders and quotations.
• Preparing necessary export documentation for all consignments.
• Arranging details of shipments with forwarders, carriers as necessary for exports.
• Reconciling statements and invoices from courier companies.
• Filing of invoices and delivery schedules.
• Following up on stock and availability.
• Preparing reports for commercial and maintaining KPI reports tracking.
• Ensuring consistent application of export, SARB & customs regulations.
• Processing letters of credit insurance for export orders.
