Automation Sales Engineers — Ready to Grow Inland & Across SADC?

POSITION INFO:
A global leader in industrial automation and pneumatic solutions is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Sales Engineer to support and grow both inland and export business within the SADC region.

This role suits a technically strong sales professional who is comfortable managing accounts locally while developing opportunities across neighbouring African markets.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

3–6 years’ experience in technical sales within automation, pneumatics, or industrial solutions
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar
Proven track record of meeting sales targets
Willingness to travel locally and within SADC
Valid driver’s license and passport

Job Experience & Skills Required

Grow inland sales accounts while developing export opportunities
Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial end-users
Conduct technical solution discussions and product presentations
Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Maintain structured pipeline reporting and forecasting
