JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a Renewable Energy company based in Durban is looking for an experienced External Sales Consultant for their Durban branch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing and New Business Development of services in renewable energy
Generate sales pipeline and closure of projects
Draft contract agreements
Driving sales through cold calling on new customers and managing the existing customer base
Compiling quotations & updating management on ongoing negotiations
Updating CRM system daily to reflect accurate information
Pricing negotiations and administration to keep in-line with margin requirements
Reviewing and analyse sales reports
Compile opposition activity reports
Conduct regular industry surveys to ascertain customer needs
Update knowledge of industry market sector trends and peaks
Responsible for sales administration
Conducting technical demonstrations of products
Maintaining current business relationships and creating new ones
Visiting customers regularly to generate new business

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum 5 years’ experience in external Sales (B2B)
Preferably with experience in selling technically based solutions selling
Min. Matric with a tertiary qualific. an advantage
Must have own reliable transport
