POSITION INFO:
Our client is a national supplier of industrial chemicals serving various sectors across South Africa. They are seeking an experienced External Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through cold calling, referrals, research and market development. Grow and maintain the customer base through new business, cross-selling and strong client relationships. Conduct regular client visits and submit weekly call plans. Identify customer needs through site visits and needs analysis. Prepare and present quotations, proposals, samples and product information. Maintain accurate customer, pricing and sales records. Provide regular customer feedback, sales reports and stock forecasts. Manage and develop the sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business. Achieve agreed sales, gross profit, retention and growth targets. Maintain professional standards and comply with company policies and procedures. Requirements Grade 12 \/ National Senior Certificate. External sales, account management or business development experience, preferably in chemical, industrial, agricultural or related sectors . Relevant sales\/marketing qualification advantageous. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel. Computer literate with CRM, email, spreadsheet and reporting experience. Experience with quotations, proposals, forecasting and customer records. Good commercial awareness, communication and negotiation skills.
