External Sales Executive - Johannesburg areas

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications & Competencies:

Matric certificate
Minimum 3+ years’ sales experience
Well spoken in Afrikaans and English
At least 3+ years' experience within a steel or electrical industry
Valid driver’s license
MS Office Suite (Excel) / Sage experience
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening)
Good time management
Must be presentable

Responsibilities:

Travel within territory to meet and maintain customer relationships
Conduct calls, meetings, quotations, tenders, and follow-ups
Accurately capturing of orders / manage back-orders
Close sales and provide after-sales service
Promote products, communicate updates, and handle customer feedback
Negotiate prices/discounts within guidelines
Manage weekly call sheets, goods returns, and contract reviews
