eCommerce Business Analyst

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking an eCommerce Business Analyst to join their team in Cape town. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with excellent benefits and a great working environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the marketing strategy of a new eCommerce website. You'll be required to build the site from scratch using eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento or WordPress. You'll also assist with product development by creating promotional materials and other assets including visual content (videos, photos etc.) which are used on our websites in order to increase conversion rates.

Requirements

• Compiling analytics for improvements in a given area.
• Plan and lead requirements elicitation, elaboration and clarification workshops with customer teams, translate business requirements into functional requirements,
• Advise customers on B2C and B2B commerce best practices and optimal business processes, managing requirements prioritisation and assisting the architect and lead developer by obtaining functional clarifications from the customers' subject matter experts during the project.
• SAP Commerce (Hybris) knowledge preferential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in a retail environment as a BA/BBA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
• Knowledge and understanding of eCommerce business concepts, principles, and technology is necessary.
• Must have three years of experience in eCommerce retail with a proven track record of success.
