SUMMARY:
This global corporate is currently keen to employ a Marketing Manager (E-Commerce) to play a pivotal role in the successful launch and growth of a E-Commerce/Online sales business of an already well-established brand. You will:

POSITION INFO:

  • Develop and execute an industry-leading marketing strategy, cementing the business as the provider of choice for consumers in the territory.
  • Champion a customer-first approach across the business and deliver impactful end-to-end marketing initiatives within a fast-moving ecommerce environment.
  • Grow the online partnership network and customer base in a competitive market, leveraging off a reputable brand. 
  • Overall responsibility for the creative promotion of the business’s brand.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce or related.
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience.
  • Managerial experience (preferably automotive industry) (alternatively 1 year e-commerce experience).
  • Experience in marketing an e-commerce start-up, relating digital activities to commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Set Up:

  • Create, in line with the Brand’s philosophy, a marketing strategy for a sustainable pipeline of happy satisfied customers;
  • Create and implement marketing SOPs;
  • Take full responsibility of all marketing-related activities for the business.

Create and deliver a customer-centric Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Create a Marketing Strategy using data analysis, business planning and market understanding;
  • Implement the strategy through activities, initiatives, projects and campaigns, which is underpinned by effective and insightful data analysis;
  • Define the strategic path forward for market activities, setting timelines with milestones to achieve success;
  • Ensure market-leading status, progressive insights and first mover advantages;
  • Communicate results/performance to team members.

Responsible for building brand presence and capitalizing on brand’s market-leading position:

  • Create new campaigns and merchandise products and offers on site;
  • Create newsletters and social communications to engage customer base;
  • Build new content sections of site;
  • Manage social channels / customer service;
  • Franchise partner relationship management;
  • Management of paid performance media (PPC, paid Facebook advertising, YouTube advertising, affiliate deals).

Responsible for generating traffic to the website and engaging customers out of the typical purchase cycle:

  • Create and sustain traffic generation;
  • Ensure customer acquisition through strategic initiatives;
  • Manage daily Cost Per Acquisition (CPA);
  • Define Brand direction / awareness building and implement activities;
  • Complete all customer communications (newsletters and operational);
  • Create content for the website and target activities or campaigns;
  • Manage all social media business activities, complaints, image, brand, awareness, marketing and advertising;
  • Manage customer product surveys;
  • Keep a view of all statistics.

Monitoring goals and measuring performance across all channels, adapting strategy as required:

  • Daily CPA management;
  • Paid media analysis and adjustment;
  • Owned and Authored Media management;
  • Earned Media management.

Driving demand across the acquisition lifecycle:

  • Use pre-determined controls to measure success and move operations towards the right direction by using initiatives and strategies based on data analysis.

Maximise the effectiveness of affiliate sites:

  • Complete marketing activities to drive presence, brand salience, competitiveness, open technical comparisons, convenience and the business’s philosophy.
