FATCA and CRS Specialist – 6 month contract (Cape Town)

SUMMARY:
A subsidiary of a Global Financial Services Company requires your proven passion for the investment industry in the capacity of a FATCA & CRS Specialist for a 6 month Contract

POSITION INFO:

The candidate must have done reporting and have sound FATCA knowledge!

Job Specification;

Ensure that all indicia gaps and entity classifications are completed for all jurisdictions
Assist in doing research
Assist with the FATCA & CRS classification of new business
Ensuring FATCA & CRS compliance in all relevant jurisdictions by relevant deadlines
GIIN Registrations with the IRS
FATCA and CRS Reporting registrations with various jurisdictions for all-new reporting entities
Sign off entity closures and ensure that all reporting has been completed before the final sign off
Assist with verifying and completing self-certification forms for entities across the group

Minimum Requirements;

Matric or Grade 12
BComm / CIMA or equivalent degree
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate and motivate via written and verbal form
Experience in financial services
Knowledge of FATCA & CRS
Experience in trusts and partnerships an advantage
