SUMMARY:
An opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive Project & Quality Manager to take the lead in overseeing fibre optic splicing operations in Nelspruit. This hands-on position involves supervising fibre teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of FTTH and FTTB projects, and managing both new installations and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in fibre splicing with strong leadership and admin capabilities to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to industry standards.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with fibre optic installation, splicing, and testing.
Proven track record in managing teams and projects within the telecoms environment.
Technical certifications in fibre optics (e.g., FOA, CFOT) are advantageous.
Proficient with OTDRs, fusion splicers, power meters, and related test tools.
Confident interpreting fibre network designs and technical documentation.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (daily travel required).
Computer literate and capable of working with field reporting systems.
