JOB SUMMARY:
Kirkwood area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Finance and Admin Manager to join the team. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial/HR/Admin environment
  • Cost and Management Accounting Experience
  • Relevant Qualification in Finance or Accounting (B-Tech Cost & Management Accounting/BCom Accounting/ Project Management)
  • Proficiency in Sage Pastel Accounting, Payroll
  • Technically very sound in terms of Accounting Principles
  • Strong Tax and VAT experience and understanding
  • Proven Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Be able to compile reports in Excel
  • Have good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Able to respect Company Confidentiality
  • Have Own reliable transport
  • Knowledge of Paltrack System is advantageous


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Preparing the Budget for the next financial year
  • Financials including Cash Books and all Recons on General Ledger Accounts
  • Assisting Auditors with any queries regarding the financials
  • Year Ends
  • Payments (All including Wages Etc.)
  • Salaries
  • Unemployment Fund
  • Insurance for Company
  • General Office duties
  • SARS (VAT returns, EMP501, IRP5 Recons on Easy File)
  • Monthly Financial feedback
  • Diesel Recons
  • Packing Cost for New Season Stock on Paltrack Packhouse Paperwork
  • Check entries on Paltrack Runs (Check and Email to Producers)
  • Invoicing of Contract Packing as well as Packaging Material
  • Pay-outs to Producers (Juice and Local Sales)
  • Payments Received (Juice, Local and Export Fruit)
  • Seasonal Reports and Summaries
  • Complying with Legislation for the following and completing of forms for Statistics South Africa and Employment Equity
