FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE READY MIX CONCRETE

Durbanville R750 000- 850 000 PA total CTC

Quarry, Ready-mix, and Hollow core business seek a hands-on Financial Executive to be part of their strategic team, do costing and forecasting, manage and develop a team, and work with Operations, the FM, and the Operations Manager to ensure profitability. Do wages and assist with benchmarking salaries. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a Degree, min 15 years of experience, and someone who had a good working knowledge of the Ready-mix industry. This is low a margin big numbers business so having worked in Ready-mix or similar industry is a plus. We are looking for a mid-career to senior Financial Executive who is driven and strategic. You will report directly to the MD and the FM and finance team will report to you. You will need a good understanding of contracts and the legal framework that governs contracts in the Ready-mix industry. You will need your own car and must speak Afrikaans and English.

Key performance areas include but are not limited to:

1. Accounting
2. Legal expertise – Understanding of JBCC, Building Industry, Litigation, etc.
3. Payroll – Payment generation and all other SARS forms and reports
4. New appointment package calculations.
5. Budgets vs Actual – Income and expenses
1. Analyse
2. Project
3. Sales - Selling Price
4. Product price increases
6. Input on business structure, TAX savings, NEWCOs, etc.
7. Commission Calcs
8. Incentive Calcs
9. An older person with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
10. Form part of the team
