SUMMARY:
A fresh produce retail supplier and grower-exporter, trading in table grapes and vegetables, is currently recruiting for a Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:
The job incumbent will report to the CEO and must have experience operating at a strategic level in a similar environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day-to-day functions:

Manage Debtors and Creditors
Cost Accounting
Foreign Currencies
Work in Progress Stock
Manage Bank Reconciliations
Cash Flow Management
Internal Control Measures
Implementation of accounting system policies
Continuously monitoring and flagging system issues and identifying potential improvements to system

Review financial function:

Reconciliation to Trail Balance
Profit and Loss Analysis
Financial Reports on monthly variance analyses

Other functions:

VAT reconciliation, preparation and submission;
ITAS VAT recon & submission;
Letters / credit applications;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

CA (SA)
5+ years’ experience in Finance Department;
Experience in the Fresh Produce is non-negotiable;
Previously worked on Xero;
Ideally Prophet/ Dipar / Palbroker system experience
Advanced Excel Skills (Pivots).
