SUMMARY:

Our client in the health industry formulates, manufactures, and distributes world-class health products.

They require the services of a Financial Manager to manage financial and tax compliance, reporting, and internal controls for the company.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES::

Manage internal control procedures and compliance to accounting standards and legislation
Maintain compliance with appropriate taxation legislation and accounting standards
Submission of VAT & EMP returns
Finalize and review annual financial statements
Maintain banking controls/profile
Authorized bank signatory
Review and release payments
Manage cash flow within the limit of the available facilities
Deliver timely financial reports that provide an accurate picture of the financial position
Manage & present budgets and forecast to CFO & CEO
Maintain adequate levels of insurance cover
Ensure that staff are trained, equipped, and motivated through effective staff management processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

BCom in Accounting
CA (SA)
5 - 8 years of financial management experience
5 years managing staff and budgets experience
Advanced knowledge of the Syspro and Excel
Ability to process and interpret financial data
Ability to present information to an audience
Excellent detail focus & commercial awareness
Excellent planning, prioritizing, and analytical skills
Excellent data rational
Superb communication and management skills.
