FINANCIAL MANAGER - (Manufacturing)

SUMMARY:
An established manufacturing business based in Klerksdorp is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the finance function at its factory.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the financial requirements of a manufacturing environment and is confident managing the full finance function.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day finance function and finance team Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reports Oversee reconciliations, journals, debtors, creditors and payment processes Manage VAT, PAYE, Customs and other statutory tax requirements Analyse costs, pricing, margins and actual performance against budget Maintain effective financial controls, accounting procedures and fixed asset records Manage external audits and ensure statutory compliance Provide management with accurate financial information and meaningful business analysis Oversee banking, foreign exchange, supplier and other financial processes Requirements: Proven experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance role Strong manufacturing environment experience - essential Solid financial and accounting knowledge with strong reporting and analytical skills Advanced Excel and MS Office skills Experience managing and motivating a finance team Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journals, AP \/ AR and statutory requirements Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving ability Able to work independently, under pressure adhering to tight deadlines A hands-on, professional and commercially minded approach Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
