SUMMARY:
FINANCIAL GENERAL MANAGER (LEGAL INDUSTRY) - Cape Town, CBD
R30 000 - R40 000 (depending on experience)

A well-known law firm is looking for a General Financial Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
Relevant Financial degree
At least 3 years'' experience in a similar position
Setting and monitoring of annual budgets
Cashflow forecasts and cashflow management
Preparation of payroll and month-end journals
Responsible for the full HR function from the preparation of contracts to the capturing, reconciling and
payment of salaries
Managing the company’s SARS profile, submission of returns and payment of relevant taxes
Review and authorisation of all payments from business and client trust funds
Overseeing client investments made from funds held in trust
Preparation of weekly and monthly management reports
Responsible for overseeing the annual business and trust audit
Responsible for BBBEE compliance and overseeing the BBBEE audit
Managing the company’s provident fund and medical aid
Responsible for financial compliance with the Legal Practice Council’s regulations
Managing a team of three bookkeeping staff
Various ad hoc administrative and financial tasks as requested by directors
