POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a Financial Manager to act as the second-in-command to the CFO. The company is known for its strong operational performance and commitment to growth, offering a professional environment where your financial expertise will make a real impact. This role is perfect for a CA(SA) professional with solid manufacturing experience who is ready to take on a strategic finance leadership role and grow into a top finance leadership role.
Duties:
- Assist the CFO in financial planning, reporting, and strategy.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices across finance functions.
- Support management with financial insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Education and experience:- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial management, in the manufacturing industry
- Strong technical skills in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
