FMCG Operations Manager - Marble Hall based

SUMMARY:
Experienced manufacturing FMCG Operations manager with 5 years FMCG background, for a large national organisation.

POSITION INFO:

Marble Hall Based Position.

RNeg to experience and qualification

Essential Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Plus Tertiary or Technical qualification
• 3 years in animal feed manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years management and supervisory experience
• Solid Microsoft Office Skills (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Power Automate, etc)
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure production targets are met
• Ensure that all feed produced meets good manufacturing practices and quality standards
• Manage the agreed budget requirements of the expected production and expenditure of the plant
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly production reports are submitted

• Ensure that the good manufacturing practices are met, and the relevant documentation is completed

• Ensure that mill maintenance is carried out as per good manufacturing practices requirements and ensure the lowest production downtime
• Ensure that all staff adhere to health and safety procedures and standards as per the good manufacturing practices requirements thereby ensuring the plant complies with the Ohsact
• Continuously strive to improve through-puts and performance in terms of productivity and plant output
• Ensure ongoing staff recruitment, discipline, development and utilization
• Ensure department adherence to all relevant SOP’s and documents
