POSITION INFO:
An established South African group with national and cross-border entities and a diverse portfolio of businesses is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead its strategic finance function. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning across the group. Deliver insightful financial analysis, including variance, trend, profitability, and ratio analysis to support executive decision-making. Oversee group cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financial sustainability initiatives. Prepare and present monthly management reports and executive financial packs. Partner with General Managers and key business stakeholders to improve financial performance and commercial outcomes. Monitor revenue, cost structures, profitability, and identify opportunities for optimisation and operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with IFRS, financial controls, governance standards, and statutory requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving operational excellence within the finance function. Job Experience and Skills Required Qualifications BCom Honours in Accounting, Financial Accounting, or a related field. Experience Minimum 7 years' experience within Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance. Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and executive reporting. Experience managing finance teams within a multi-entity or group environment. Knowledge of PFMA\/MFMA will be advantageous. Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong financial modelling and reporting capability. Financial planning and forecasting. Cash flow management. IFRS and financial governance. Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence senior executives and drive commercial decision-making.
