SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic FP&A Accountant to join our client in the IT Services industry, based in Durban. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business performance through insightful financial planning and reporting.
You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and providing key decision-making support to senior management. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Analyse monthly performance and deliver insightful management reports and dashboards
- Partner with department heads to understand and influence financial drivers
- Support strategic planning, business cases, and cost management initiatives
- Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for automation within finance
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: BCom Degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent)
- Professional: Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Experience: 3–5 years post-articles experience in a commercial environment, preferably within the IT or technology sector
