UK-based group is expanding into South Africa, and they’re looking for a
Finance Business Partner (CA(SA)) to lead the charge from the ground up. Based in the
City Bowl, Cape Town, this is your chance to be the
architect of a new finance function - setting up operations, hiring your own team, and partnering directly with leadership across borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the South African finance function from day one
- Build and manage your own team of finance professionals
- Develop and maintain financial models to guide strategic decisions
- Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting and consolidations
- Partner with global leadership to advise on business performance and movement
- Drive process alignment across shared services and global structures
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to both SA operations and UK headquarters
Job Experience and Skills Required
- CA(SA) – or CIMA
- 2–3 years’ post-article experience in a commercial or business partnering role
- Proven exposure to tech, IT, or shared services industries preferred
- Experience with financial modelling, reporting, and consolidation
- Ability to advise on business movement and growth strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable setting up new systems and leading from the front
- Strong leadership potential with exceptional communication skills
