POSITION INFO:
Dynamic Fintech team servicing international clients and who are in an exciting growth phase seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team. This exciting role sits within the shared services team for a group of entities, who are proactive and forward-thinking! This is a key role for their finance team, as they are looking for someone to build and lead the FP&A team and build out the core capabilities of the FP&A function. Responsibilities
- Conducting financial analysis, variance analysis, financial reporting
- Highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets
- Coordinate the rolling forecast process, providing guidance and support to business units
- Analyze budget and forecast results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions
- Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans and strategies
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and assess their financial impact
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a strategic partner to business units, providing financial insights and guidance to support operational and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new projects and initiatives
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business planning as well as investment decisions
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of a completed degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related with an honours degree as a preference or CFA, CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA qualified strongly preferred
- Must have current relevant experience within a similar role with the financial services industry (Fintech, Asset Management, Banking)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of success in a corporate environment
- Highly proficient within FP&A with strong financial modelling, analysis, and reporting tools usage skills
- Highly analytical, solutions-driven with strong decision-making skills
- Ability to work well with and collaborate well with cross-functional team
- Highly proficient with financial software and ERP systems, previous experience with Oracle or SAP a plus
- Professional, with high levels of integrity
