POSITION INFO:
A dynamic and growing organisation is seeking an analytical and commercially minded FP&A Manager to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys translating numbers into actionable business insights and influencing strategic decision-making at senior leadership level. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, modelling, and performance analysis across multiple business entities. The role will suit a self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and can confidently partner with stakeholders across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the business Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making Conduct financial due diligence and assess potential opportunities and risks Develop and maintain advanced financial models from scratch to support planning and business initiatives Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and financial insights for senior leadership Analyse profit and loss performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of concern Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans Perform detailed cost analysis and support cost-setting initiatives across the business Evaluate financial performance across multiple entities and provide diagnostic reporting Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and business performance Support long-term planning and scenario modelling exercises Job Experience and Skills Required: CIMA qualification preferred, or BCom with completed Articles 2-3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis Strong experience in budgeting and forecasting Proven financial analysis and management reporting experience Experience conducting financial due diligence Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Demonstrated ability to build financial models from the ground up Strong understanding of variance analysis, profitability reporting, and business performance metrics Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or construction environments will be advantageous Experience with Xero and\/or Zoho would be beneficial Key Attributes: Agile and adaptable in a changing business environment Innovative thinker with a solutions-driven mindset Commercially astute with strong business acumen Highly analytical and detail-oriented Self-managed and capable of working independently Proactive and results-driven Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Able to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insights Why Consider This Opportunity?
