POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an experienced FPA Manager for our client in Johannesburg CBD.

We require work experience from the Automotive Distribution Industry.

 

Working with individual branches and service centres to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget.

 

Evaluating whether the companyâ??s current assets and investments are the best use of the companyâ??s excess working capital, by looking at return on investment (ROI) and comparisons with other ways the company might utilise its cash flow (e.g., other possible investments, dividends).

 

Gauging the companyâ??s overall financial health, primarily analysing key financial KPIs for the business.

 

Minimum educational level:                                                      

• CA (SA)
• 5 - 7 Years post articles work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Advanced excel skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determining which of the companyâ??s products or product lines generate the largest portion of its net profit and compare that against the costs incurred in doing so, assisting the planning team to optimise the product mix to maximise profitability.
• Examining and evaluating the cost-efficiency of each department of the company, considering what percentage of the companyâ??s financial resources each branch and service centre consumes.
• Working with individual branches and service centres to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget.
• On a quarterly basis, prepare forecasts to assess performance against budget and to create rolling 12-month visibility.
• Understanding key variances to budget and forecast and create visibility of the aspects impacting deviations from budget and forecast.
• Preparing the monthly flash results and management accounting packs and preparing internal reports within depth analysis of the results to allow and supporting their decision making.
• Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
• Considering opportunities for the company to expand or grow.
• Mapping outgrowth plans, including capital expenditures and investments. Generating three- to five-year financial forecasts.
