FULL STACK ENGINEER

SUMMARY:
Full Stack Engineer - R70k/month - JHB - Perm - Immediate Start - Open to all

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a young, dynamic, versatile Full Stack Engineer to join form part of a fresh team looking to build sate of the art ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) software. As a part of this agile team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining new features collaboratively. You will have supervision from a team lead and assistance in the form of stand-ups where any issues will be brought up and addressed. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of web UI technologies. In addition to this, you would need to have experience in C# or another mainstream language. If you are a developer who enjoys seeing their work come to life, appreciates well written code and are familiar with concepts like DRY, fail fast and SOLID, we want to get to know you a little better!

Responsibilities:
• Implementing UI specifications in REACT
• Writing backend services in C# to be consumed by the REACT application
• Writing modular and maintainable code
• Refactoring and adapting the code to support new requirements
• Provide support and maintenance for the solution
• Writing unit tests
• Following best practices and conforming to code standards
• Ask questions, engage, and discuss opportunities for improvements.

Requirements:

• Frontend technologies (2+ years) o React, JavaScript, Node.js o Bootstrap, HTML, CSS
• Backend technologies (2+ years) o C# or any mainstream strongly typed OOP language o MS SQL Server, SQL o .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET
• Testing technologies (optional, or open to learn) o NUnit, XUnit, Specflow o Selenium
• Supporting skills o GIT, Azure DevOps o OOP, SOLID, design patterns
